Gunjan Saxena, when I saw the poster of the movie, I did not know who she was. But after I saw the film, it just explained much more than her. The cliche dialogue that have been heard since childhood,"You are a girl, you can't do it", was the most annoying thing ever. But the way Mr.Saxena supported his children, not differentiating that it was his son or his daughter speaks a lot. As Gunjan, even though she should feel alienated in the academy, the way she dealt with it was different. Even after trying from her part, when she failed, I could sense the turmoil of emotions she was going through. When she says the she would tell her dad that he was mistaken because he did not know she had to do arm wrestling to be a pilot, it talked a lot about each of the professions. But the guts Gunjan had was ordinary and I guess Janhvi Kapoor has nailed the show. "There is no difference in man and woman, when you are inside the cockpit, you are called a pilot",I wish this was applicable to all the professions.
Do you think you are treated the same way as a man in your profession ?
You can't change the world, but you can change yourself and one day, the world will look upto you !
